Dr. Shahinfar has been practicing dentistry all over the world for over 28 years. Her skills in pediatric dentistry
are not only confined to the dentists' office. Dr. Shahinfar was also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of
Dentistry, Division of Pediatric Dentistry at Temple University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Shahinfar grew up in Iran, which
is also where she earned her first dentistry degree and where her love for pediatric dentistry began. Since her early
days, as a new pediatric dentist her goal has always been to make sure that a child is comfortable and that the experience
is always a fun and memorable one. She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for her patients, using all of
her specialty skills to put her patients at ease.
Dr. Shahinfar lives with her husband and two sons in Potomac Maryland. She has one son in high school and an older son
who is currently attending a university and is enrolled in the pre-dental program. Dr. Shahinfar's husband is also a
dentist, practicing endodontics in northern Maryland. In her spare time, Dr. Shahinfar loves to cook. It is one
of her favorite things to do, besides dentistry of course!
